Holburne Mushroom Farm is a family-owned and operated business specializing in growing fresh organic shiitake and oyster mushrooms and substrate production. Since 1980, our farm has grown from a small white mushroom growing operation to the largest supplier of organic shiitake mushrooms in Canada.
Paolo Furlano and Giovanni Colella established Holburne Mushroom Farm in 1980. In 2005, Paolo bought out his partner, following a dream of converting the farm into a shiitake mushroom growing facility. To this day, the farm is owned and operated by the second and third generations of the Furlano family. Nick Furlano and Tonia Hebert, and Robert and Steven Rotiroti proudly uphold the vision started by Furlano and Colella many years ago.
